Image Grab Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Image Grab is a browser extension that shows the images on the web page you're viewing in a gallery and lets you download the ones you choose. This policy explains what the extension does with information. In short: it doesn't collect, store or share any of your data.
What the extension accesses
- The page you open it on. When you click the Image Grab icon, it reads the addresses of the images on that page so it can show them to you. It doesn't run on pages where you haven't opened it.
- Linked pages, only if you ask. If you start "Crawl site", it loads pages linked from the current page (on the same site by default) to find their images, just as your browser would load them.
- The images themselves, so they can be displayed and downloaded. Images are requested directly from the websites that host them.
What happens to that information
- Everything is processed inside your browser, on your device.
- Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
- Nothing is stored after you close the gallery, except the images you choose to download, which are saved to your Downloads folder.
- When you click "Copy links", the selected image addresses are copied to your clipboard.
Optional Atlas integration
If you separately install the companion helper for the Atlas app on your Mac, "Add to Atlas" passes the addresses of the images you select to that helper on your own computer, which adds them to your local Atlas library. This communication stays on your device. Without the helper installed, this feature is hidden and inactive.
Data sharing and sale
Image Grab does not sell, rent, transfer or share any user data, and does not use data for any purpose other than showing and saving the images you ask for.
Children
The extension doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
